Stylish easy-listening music sung by baritone John, possibly accompanied by Anafel
Famous jazz classics, a touch of rock & roll, R&B, and crooners from the ’50s, ’60s, and ’70s.
Background mood music, swing, and dance. No Dutch-language repertoire.

John performs using a vintage Shure Super 55 classic vocal microphone with JBL speakers. These produce the warm, deep baritone sound characteristic of many crooners of yesteryear. He may be accompanied by Anafel for easy-listening duets
He’s actually been singing his whole life, and for years now he’s performed with passion as a solo singer (or in a duo).
By taking vocal workshops with none other than Linda Wagenmakers, he further developed his baritone voice into that of a true crooner. Jazz is his genre, but he’s also more than happy to tackle Rock & Roll, Rhythm and Blues, and disco songs by artists such as Barry White.
Nat King Cole, Michael Bublé, Frank Sinatra, Elvis, Tom Jones, Tony Bennett, Tom Jones, as well as Chris Rea, Joe Cocker, Christopher Cross, Lee Towers, Simply Red, CCR, and the Bellamy Brothers are all part of his vocal act at Showbird and create a lively atmosphere at every corporate party, opening, dinner, or event, etc.

This act lasts approximately 2 hours—which could be 3 half-hour sets with a few breaks—but this is, of course, negotiable based on the client’s preferences.
