What started so innocently as a DJ at a school party at his then school "the Rientjes Mavo" quickly grew into something beautiful. Besides the many parties where Jurjen played with his own Drive in Show, he could also be found in local discotheques and cafes. He also performed together with DJ Jean in Turkey, which was a fantastic experience for him.
After years of experience as a DJ Jurjen got a fantastic offer to join another branch of the music world. He became the sound engineer of
Jeroen Claase (brother of Vinzzent) with whom he did many great gigs and where he met many artists. Mostly the artists he now meets very often in the country as a singer himself.
After these fantastic times Jurjen has now devoted himself completely to singing, this is what he likes doing best. Jurjen likes to do this and enjoys it when people are happy when he performs. He has performed at many major events throughout the country and is a regular guest on Corendon's artist tours. A DJ with the necessary experience at home and abroad now for years behind the microphone on or in front of the stage, an all-rounder who makes every occasion a party.
After the debut single "Onder de maan en de sterren" which was released in February 2011 Jurjen recorded the single called "Geef het een duwtje" in good cooperation with Frank Verkooyen and this single was released September 16, 2011. In December 2015 his 3rd single called "Without You" was released and was super received around the country on both radio and TV. Right now Jurjen is brainstorming in the studio to record another tasty party record soon!

august 10, 2024: It was a wonderful evening, the location was perfect, a nice DJ was playing. But when Jurjen came on and sang with my daughters of 9 and 10 the song "Jij bent daar" by Jan Smit and Kim Lian van der Meij, the evening really started. Super fun how he interacted with my girls, and totally included them in his show. After this performance he brought the atmosphere super good, it was rightly a huge party. Literally everyone present joined in the polonaise. Jurjen is a very nice personality. Fine and quick in contact. Highly recommended if you want to give a nice party. The reactions of everyone present were raving.... he created a great atmosphere. Jurjen thanks for your efforts, you are a topper! You gave my Mariska an unforgettable evening, thank you!!!
