HoochieMama can adapt to various needs and situations. From small pub, to large venue, to festival to (car) fair. From laid back to solid Rock and everything in between.
The given price is for a performance with 2 sets of 45 minutes + 1 break and is an indication. Shorter performances are possible.
Standard we have a sound set for a medium pub / small venue (150 to 200 people). This complete set (microphones, stands, speakers, mixing desk/amplifier) can be rented for only €150,- extra from the beginning to the end of the performance (costs at least €300,- when rented).
This set can also be used during the break for playing your own music. In the case of a larger gig, a
larger PA with sound engineer must be present, in this case we can provide a "Rider".
Furthermore, we have a number of colored spots to supplement the already present light , no complete full stage light set so.

We apply 100 KM (round trip) travel expenses free.
We apply a maximum travel distance (one way) of 150 km with the exception of the larger festivals (because there are often shorter playing times and no need to build your own system).
NOTE, as we are a professional band with also last minute bookings and are with 4 persons, keeping the agenda here at Showbird is almost impossible. Please send a message for availability, and if possible we can proceed with a request.
HoochieMama was formed in 1990 as a rock band that started adding more blues songs to its repertoire. The name is derived from Muddy Waters' Hoochie Coochie Man and the 1950s pinups that are also incorporated into several of the band's logos.
HoochieMama has performed several supporting acts including those for Jan Akkerman and blues diva Ana Popvic. In addition, the band has received rave reviews from Blues Magazine and have participated in The Dutch Blues Challenge
In March 2015, HoochieMama celebrated their 25th anniversary with a release party for their latest Cd 'twenty five'. Besides their own material, HoochieMama plays various covers of Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Spencer Davis Group, John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters and many others.

Friendly band members, had good contact beforehand. Band came right on time and they certainly made it a party! Professionals who prefer to stay small, top! Actually our audience was too small I've never seen my parents dance before, but even they couldn't stand still. Also from others nothing but positive reactions. Definitely a must!
