For almost forty years Jimmy Sterman and his fellow brothers have been entering the stages of Holland and beyond. Globally and musically they are, in various genres, at home in all markets!

A renowned blues band that has travelled and sailed all corners of the planet
It could just be that their latest CD therefore bears the title 'NOTES FROM A BLUE(S) PLANET'. Their repertoire is a dynamic mix of rock, soul, funk and blues.

Jimmy Martin Sterman, Singer Entertainer, has been playing with phenomena like Herman Brood, Hans Lafaye and many others in Bands since the early sixties: Blues 66, IBC, Blues Dimension
And on a later date also with brothers Laporte (Barrelhouse), Burt van der Meij, Willem Visser (Binberg), Hans Dulfer and Erwin van Ligten, Nick Vos and many others.
His GANG consists of: Erwin Aubroeck on keyboards/hammond and vocals; Cees van de Laarse, bass guitar, is known from a.o. Brainbox and various well-known formations; Guitarist Pete Becker is well known from the Haarlem music circuit; On percussion and vocals Pieter Voogt is an excellent drummer, known from Ekseption, Hot Bolshevik, Total Stuff aso.

Together they provide a nice surprisingly swinging evening. With a broad repertoire grafted on Rhytm & Blues and Southern Rock, including material from the Allman Brothers, Johnny Neel, Joe Bonemassa, Kebmo, Willy de Ville, etc. they inspire their audience. Tightly arranged covers combined with their own work create an atmosphere that will stay with the audience for days to come.
Their style is tight, often polyphonic parts and characterized by great dynamics and typical Southern blues rock sound, sometimes Latin interspersed with beautiful ballads of aforementioned phenomena.
