Lewin, formerly known as JARA, is sometimes referred to as Amsterdam's Joni Mitchell - she plays intelligent, idiosyncratic songs in open guitar tunings, with layered lyrics and melodies nestling unexpectedly in your head.
Her performances are warm and vulnerable, her voice fragile and flawless. On her own and with her band, she has performed on many stages at home and abroad; and from sweaty summer festivals to intimate attic rooms, she always manages to touch a chord with the listeners
The given price is for a performance of half an hour and is an indication. If soundsystems have to be brought along, +€50 extra will be charged. Extra half hour: +€60. Leave your specific wishes in the request!
For travel time longer than 60 minutes (to be checked in all fairness in advance via google maps) we charge a supplement of €10 per half hour.
Recently Lewin could be heard as JARA in the
semi-finals of the Grote Prijs van Nederland, meanwhile she is working on a full-length album which will be released at the end of 2021.
