Ivy Lemos is a Brazilian-born singer, songwriter, teacher and researcher who has lived in the Netherlands since 2008. Ivy graduated in Latin Music from the Rotterdam Conservatory - Codarts,

Ivy was born on 13 September in Castanhal-Pará, as an indigenous, African and Portuguese descendant, grew up in Belém, lived in São Paulo and currently lives in Rotterdam where, besides her work as a musician, she also works as a teacher, researcher and cultural producer. Her multiculturalism and her passion for the culture and world music are present in her extensive repertoire that combines different rhythms such as samba, bossa-nova, choro, carimbó, forró, capoeira and indigenous music with other rhythms such as Jazz, bolero, cha-cha-cha, and many others.

Given price is an indication. 350 euro per extra musician (accompanist). It can be duo, trio, quartet or quintet (Guitar, Drums, Bass, Accordion or Piano). Additional charge of 15 euro per 15 minutes for performances after 1 am. Please let us know your specific wishes in an open inquiry

Ivy has participated in many projects with musicians of different nationalities, performed as a singer at various venues in Brazil, England, Germany and the Netherlands such as Casa do Choro in Rio de Janeiro, De Doelen in Rotterdam, Jazz Café Dizzy in Rotterdam, Bird in Rotterdam, De Badcuyp, Club Lite and Bimhuis in Amsterdam, Café De Kroon in Nijmegen, Muziekgebouw Eindhoven, Breda Jazz, Guanabara and Barrio Shoreditch in London. As a composer, she won the Samba enredo competition in London in 2017 and in 2016 she won the Notting Hill Carnival with the London School of Samba with her samba enredo "Sambafari".
