Romantic or festive swinging guitar music during your wedding, reception or garden party with the warm sound of the classical guitar.

Christiaan de Jong switch effortlessly between jazz, classical and flamenco guitar. Well-known songs like Blue Bossa, Lullaby in Birdland, Girl of Ipanema, My Favourite things a la Joe pass or Sylvain Luc, but also works by F. Sor, F. Tarrega, H. Villa Lobos, A. Piazzolla or A. Lauro, L. de Nervaez or D. Scarlatti, J..S. Bach, traditional Spanish flamenco or his own jazzy flamenco or Bossa Nova inspired improvisations.

Very suitable for special moments in the foreground or just as an atmospheric setting in the background, private parties, wedding ceremonies, living rooms, churches, gardens, galleries, museums...... At weddings he usually plays quiet music such as Romance Anónimo or a prelude by J.S. Bach and then during the reception more (Latin) jazz and or flamenco. On request, he sometimes also arranges (pop) songs for the occasion. He usually brings his own very bright amplifier, which provides a warm and natural sound.

Christiaan de Jong is an international artist and one of the few Dutch guitarists specialized in jazz and improvised music on the Spanish guitar. He has played with musicians like Oene van Geel, Eric Vloeimans, Harry Sparnaay and as a soloist with orchestra in Spain, Finland, Italy and Duitsand He also enjoys playing a solo concert, not only in halls, but also churches, squares and living rooms. Own work and improvisations, influences of jazz, avant-garde classical, flamenco, Latin, Arabic music. Exciting virtuoso moments alternate with introverted tranquility. Possibly pieces composed especially for the occasion.
