Yzabel is a singer-songwriter inspired by Lana Del Rey, James Blake, Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchell.
Yzabel wrote and sang the title song for the film Knielen op een bed violen (Kneeling on a bed of violins). At the end of January 2016 she released her debut EP 'Half Awake', which can be listened to on Spotify and iTunes. She celebrated this debut with a sold out concert in Bitterzoet, together with her 5 band members. Before that she played in May 2015 in front of a sold out venue in Paradiso. The years before she sang at weddings and in living rooms and pubs in Amsterdam

Yzabel doesn't just sing his own work. She has a wide repertoire of covers. On request she studies request numbers for special ceremonies. Depending on the occasion, she performs in acoustic twos or with a full band.
