Cut, slide, take pictures... and suddenly your creation comes to life! During 4XM’s Stop Motion Animation Workshop, you’ll create your own animated film using the cut-out animation technique. A creative and surprising workshop perfect for a company outing, team-building day, or event!

Stop-Motion Animation – Bring Your Own Creations to Life!

During our Stop-Motion Animation Workshop, we combine drawing, cutting, storytelling, and filmmaking into one creative activity.

After a brief introduction, you’ll get to work in small teams. First, you’ll come up with a short story or a funny concept. Then, you’ll use paper to make the characters, objects, and backgrounds needed for your animation.

Then the real animation begins. The cut-out pieces are shifted just a little bit at a time, and a photo is taken after each movement. Put all those photos in sequence? That’s when the magic happens: your homemade characters suddenly come to life!

Make characters walk and fly, have objects appear out of thin air, or transform entire scenes. With cut-out animation, you can create the most surprising effects using relatively simple materials.

No experience with drawing, filming, or animation is necessary. It’s all about creativity, teamwork, and a good idea.

The workshop is perfect for company outings, team-building days, groups of family and friends, and events. Afterward, you’ll all receive the animated films you created.

*We’ll bring all the necessary equipment and animation materials.

Our Stop Motion Animation Workshop is available throughout the Netherlands and Belgium, and can be customized in terms of duration and content to suit your group.
