Walther Pondman plays and sings alone or with one of his ensembles from (light) classical, pop, Rock @Roll to Opera for all your parties, weddings, birthdays, receptions and company parties

Walther Pondman was born June 9, 1990, plays saxophone, clarinet and is a tenor. In 2013 he received his bachelor's degree in clarinet at the Zwolle Conservatory of Music. With that he started a minor in Jazz and Pop in his 3rd year and also a minor in Saxophone.

Since the age of 15 he has been giving concerts with his regular ensembles. Think of Beethoven, Mozart, Tschaikovsky.

Walther is in various ensembles where they perform music from the relaxed and cheerful atmospheres of Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra to the dark dramatic atmospheres of the world of opera by Puccini, Verdi, Bellini and Donizetti, among others. Thus he plays and sings as a regular saxophonist, clarinetist and singer in the "Acadia trio," "Camelia Quartett" and the "fiori e fratelli ensemble." In the latter ensemble the emphasis is also placed on the world of Jazz with the clarinet. Think especially of Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman or Louis Armstrong, the founders of the big band and later showcorps in which the saxophone is so important.

Besides these ensembles, Walther plays on request in orchestras, professional and amateur.

Since 2012 Walther has enjoyed teaching at a number of different music schools, including many projects with young children.
