Sunrise Swing Band brings you, in a jazz setting, back to the swinging ballroom atmosphere of the 30's - 40's - 50's on those unforgettable tunes of yesteryear.
Linde (singer) and Paul (clarinetist/saxophonist) first met at a Lindy Hop event, where Linde provided live music with a pianist and double bassist, trio that had been jamming together regularly for years. Paul, who gained his experience in various classical and jazz ensembles, saw an immediate fit for a collaboration. A drummer with the necessary swing background was quickly found in the person of Pieter. All band members have taken the necessary paths in various musical fields, in such a way that the swing style can be brought forward in its originality.
The beautiful voice of Linde is an invitation in itself to include our band in your event.
Our band has been in existence for 6 years now
and can come forward with 5 (full) or 4 (reduced band) members.
