Inspired by Harry Houdini, escape artist Ben and his assistant provide an unforgettable spectacle. A unique show full of humour, exciting tricks and acrobatics!

Everything revolves around two characters: the escape artist (Ben de Vroey) and his assistant (Arno Wauters). The interaction between the perfectionist buoy king and his nonchalant sidekick creates dangerous and funny situations. The decor consists of a trailer, on which an aquarium is installed. Around the aquarium there is a metal frame that serves as a suspension bridge

There will be three escape tricks during the performance:

The escape from a straitjacket
The assistant places the escape artist in a straitjacket. Then he ties his legs together and hoists him upside down on the suspension bridge. The buoy king tries to break Houdini's escape record, which is timed with a big clock. The tension can be cut while the hands are ticking away.

The escape from chains during a backward somersault (pushed from a bascule)
This escape has never been done before. The escape artist is handcuffed, with his hands on his back and the chain wrapped all the way around his body. He is then pushed off by the assistant from a bascule. During the backward somersault that follows, he frees himself. When he lands, the handcuffs and chain are loose.

A lot of people think Houdini died performing this trick. Nothing could be further from the truth. The great escape artist died of internal bleeding after receiving a blow to the stomach. This escape in itself is not that dangerous to perform, but it does create the necessary tension at
