Werner Callebaut is a passionate beer and chocolate lover and with Bierolade in recent years has focused on making successful combinations between the two Belgian top products. I convey to you my passion for delicious regional beers and surprising chocolate flavours through interesting stories interspersed with humour.
Local craft beers: The local artisanal beers offer a harmonious taste with the chocolate or just go for a spicy contrast. With fun facts and juicy beer stories I'll take you through the rich and fascinating history of our Belgian beer. Why is Belgium the beer and chocolate country? Is it a
coincidence why there are so many references to beer in our Dutch language? What is the best way to taste, smell and enjoy beer & chocolate?
Local top chocolatiers. The chocolates are always made by a local top chocolatier. You will discover classic chocolates to more surprising combinations with unusual ingredients. How about a wasabit truffle or a praline with an apfelstrüdel filling? The shapes and colours are a real treat for the eye.
Tastings and tailor-made workshops:
These tastings and workshops are completely tailor-made and are developed à la carte for both small groups (minimum 12 people) and large groups (maximum 100 people). The price per participant is €18.
The beer & chocolate tasting sessions are for individuals as well as companies and can be organised anywhere in Belgium and neighbouring countries. A beer & chocolate tasting can last from 1 to 3 hours depending on the available time frame of the customer.

We had planned a Christmas outing with our company to Leuven and searched via google for a suitable activity. A lot of people in our team love beer and chocolate, so a workshop about both was a perfect fit. The location, Mint 13 where the largest chocolate coin is displayed, was very special and contributed to the enthusiastic atmosphere. What stood out was Werner's enormous expertise in the field of both beer and chocolate. We received a lot of information and everything was simply delicious. We were allowed to taste six original beers that we would never have chosen ourselves, but that was the fun part. There were even a few strong beers between 8 and 10% and as the tasting progressed the atmosphere became more exuberant, but Werner could handle it perfectly. The chocolate jumped out again...
