A living statue is subtle and surprising at the same time. It attracts the attention of the passers-by, they remain amazed. We make a fitting statue for every event!

Do you need a custom statue for a special occasion? Contact us in time and we will discuss the character. An adapted costume and any attributes we make to measure, so it will be an unforgettable act! It is also possible to arrange for several statues, but then timely booking is certainly necessary.

A number of images created as 'custom images' were later included on this site. For example, Ambiorix, the Tuareg and the Footballer were custom images. But also on Halloween and for other occasions statues were already designed.

This act is based on a performance of 4 x 40 minutes: € 400 excl. kilometre allowance (€ 0,35/km from Bree), 6% VAT included. Leave your specific wishes in the application!

The living statue also has a name and is called Patrick van Horne. He passed the age of 30 and is a teacher by profession. This educational background makes it easy for him to stand in front of groups and animate them. Patrick has been doing the animation since 2000, first as a clown, later the statues and walking acts were added. Patrick about his motivation:

"Acting and animating is in your blood, it always gives you a kick to perform a successful act. I regularly try out new ideas, that's how the living statue came into being. That may seem easy, but it's more subtle and dosed work. You want to interact with your audience, so you have to feel it perfectly."

In 2012 Patrick decided to stop being a clown Patje, in order to put enough energy into his living images and walking acts. Meanwhile Patrick has proven that he has earned his spurs. With the living statue of the textile cutter he won the Belgian Championship in 2008 and became 2nd at the BeNeLux Championship in Lommel that same year. The act 'I wood be (a statue)' also won prizes: in April 2014 Patrick won the festival Borne op zijn Best (Nl.) and obtained a third place at the living statue festival in Tegelen (Nl.). After that I Wood be a statue became first in Den Bosch, in Maastricht and Belgian champion living statue 2014. As icing on the cake I Wood Be a Statue got a 2nd prize at Worldstatues 2014 in Arnhem.

In 2015 Patrick succeeded himself as Belgian champion with the act 'His past, mining past'. Not only was he proclaimed the best Belgian statue, but he also won the first prize of all participating statues.
