Vinzzent was born in 1978 in Winterswijk as Vincent Johannes Rudolf Claase. He grew up there with his parents and was confronted with music at an early age. His father organized Pop/Rock events with which the music of Vinzzent was poured in.

Because of his youth, a career in the music world was a logical step. He started working in a recording studio and met Rob de Nijs there. In the end Rob was the one who made Vinzzent concentrate on his own singing career. Vinzzent's first performance was at Rob de Nijs' jubilee concert in Carré

In 2010, the Netherlands met Vinzzent again by participating in the National Song Contest. He won the Audience Award but the jury chose Sieneke as the Dutch entry for the Eurovision Song Contest.
In the same year Vinzzent released his biggest hit: 'Dream Dance'! He reached the 11th place in the Single Top 100. And you can still hear Dream Dance at every tent party and carnival

In 2011 Vinzzent released the album 'Droomwereld'. It contained the hits 'Dansé Dansé' and 'Alles Wat Ik Hebben Wil'. He also won a BUMA award for the best music video for the song 'Summer Dreams'
At the end of 2011, the song 'Dromendans' was re-released, partly due to its popularity in pubs, bars and other nightlife venues. This time the single reached the 7th place in the Single Top 100. With this, the single surpassed the result of the previous release. Also radio dj's Coen and Sander were fans of the song and played 'Dream Dance' many times on the radio. As a thank you Vinzzent donated a car for the auction of Serious Request

In 2017, Vinzzent organised the festival 'Vinzzent Op Het Strand' for the first time. The festival was a great success because the year after it was organized again! It has now grown into an annual phenomenon at Beachclub Puur.
