This jazz band is a swing trio consisting of saxophonist Rik van der Made, double bassist Dan Yu and drummer Jorrit Romme. They play traditional jazz music at receptions, weddings, parties and in restaurants.
This can be in the background, small and completely acoustic, but it can also be amplified at parties where dancing is allowed! In consultation, the band can be expanded jazz guitarist, pianist and/or singer(s).
The 3 guys met at the conservatory in Tilburg. 3 friends with a love for swing music. They would love to keep doing this all their lives.

Of course we can play longer than the indicated 2 hours.
Because of the large amount of requests, we also regularly play with substitutes who are trained in the same style and have at least a bachelor or master degree from the conservatory, so maybe an unfamiliar face, but super good jazz!

Mattia and the Matrangas are an absolute must. What great musicians, they play at a very high technical and musical level. They knew at our wedding a great atmosphere to put down our expectations to surpass They are very good at adapting to the wishes of the client: during dinner we wanted atmospheric background music and later in the evening more energy (the drummer joined later for this). They did that perfectly! At no point during the evening did we feel it was too much of the same. Occasionally some vocals were added, very nice. They could even anticipate a guest who wanted to sing along!
