What about Rita?' is a purified jazz quartet with a very original repertoire. Vintage vocal jazz', a term you don't hear very often, but it does cover the bill. Songs from the repertoire of Louis Armstrong, Judy Garland, Peggy Lee, but also songs from musicals and theatre; cheerful, swinging and always danceable.
The four musicians are always looking for new repertoire, which they then give their own twist with sophisticated arrangements and often polyphonic singing. This, in combination with the exuberant flamboyant singer, makes 'How About Rita' very different from your average trio-with-singer formation.


How About Rita' provides a performance full of quality, musicality and joy. Attending a concert is a treat, if only because of the musical and humorous chemistry between the musicians and the audience. Accessible, inviting and nowhere on the beaten track of vocal jazz, 'How About Rita?' guarantees a stimulating concert that invites you to join in. What's more, there's a delicious 'Shoo-Fly-Pie' to be won!
In 2017 the first CD was released with the apt title 'How About Rita? ' Since then, 'How About Rita' has played at Jazz festivals and many Jazz clubs in Europe.
