Benny makes every performance fun. Benny sings Dutch, English and Spanish music in various styles.
Music runs like a thread through Benny's life. You have to if you come from a very musical family. At a young age Benny started with keyboard lessons and he had several roles in school musicals. In junior high he started up the band Born To Play with friends, with which they entered different stages, especially in the south west of Friesland.
After 5 years the band broke up and Benny focused on writing his own songs and participating in talent shows. In 2004 the Friesland Soundmix Award was won.
In
the years that followed, Benny focused mainly on his studies in Chemical Engineering at the RUG in Groningen. In November 2009 Benny decided to move to Chile, but 1 month before that Benny had the release of the first album with his own songs: Hero. 15 self-written songs accompanied by piano or guitar.
He has been back in the Netherlands since 2012 and has picked up the music again. In addition to his self-written work, he has focused on the cover-repertoire. And with a very varied programme of Dutch, English and Spanish songs, every performance is now a fun party.
Benny Bakker can be booked for parties, parties, events throughout the Netherlands.

We Hebben een super optreden van Benny Bakker gehad! Tegenover andere zangers was er met Benny persoonlijk contact dit was erg fijn! Benny heeft een geweldige stem toen mijn aanvraag nummer kwam kreeg ik er kippenvel van zo mooi. Benny performed for people with a non-congenital brain injury in the Sneek Residential Centre of the Noorderbrug Foundation. The enthusiasm before the performance was somewhat variable, as it is with all of us. Benny works with a playlist, to which everyone can add something. Because of the corona measures, the residents had to sit in front of their doors in the corridor as much as possible. For Benny this was no problem at all, he made a great performance of it.
