The only tribute band in Europe to pay a special tribute to one of the greatest blues artists of all time, Father of The Blues, Muddy Waters. In 2024, they will do "The Hoochie Coochie Tour" in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the song "Hoochie Coochie Man.
January 7, 2024 marked exactly 70 years since the release of Muddy Waters' song "Hoochie Coochie Man" (written by Willie Dixon). This song is one of the most famous blues songs ever.
In 2024, the Muddy Waters Tribute Band will celebrate this "birthday" with "The Hoochie Coochie Tour. In 2019, they did this on the 65th 'anniversary'.
Not a continuous tour, but a series of performances spread throughout the year, the Netherlands and probably abroad.
Performances on the tour will be supported with images whenever possible.
The Muddy Waters Tribute Band does not aim to be a copy of the original Muddy Waters Band, but is a tribute to the 'Father of the Blues' and is particularly inspired by the 70s shows and
composition of the band.
With a good cross section of the repertoire, what Muddy and his band played in those years, the Muddy Waters Tribute Band takes the audience into the atmosphere and vibe of one of the most important, influential and famous blues artists and his band that ever existed.
Later in the year, some very special American guests may be added to the show for some performances....

Robbert Fossen and his band played the roof of the house on Sunday. It was a Sunday afternoon but that was nowhere to be seen, people flew onto the dance floor and enjoyed the show from start to finish.
