Will sings in traditional Country & Western genre, as well as line-dance oriented Country. After years of performing in various formations as a singer and singer/slag guitarist and also to some extent to be booked as a solo singer, Wil finally decided in the year 2010 to fully devote himself to a solo career. Now that he has gone completely solo, he has also been able to focus more on the various genres, to which his feelings are devoted, such as Rock & Roll (incl. 50's & 60's), Easy Listening and an ode to his greatest idol Elvis Presley.

In the period 2000 - 2010 he recorded two CDs, namely 'Some Of My Favourites' and '35 Years In Music'. To give some more exposure to his solo career, he went into the studio and recorded his CD "Hold Me Close," which he presented on May 8, 2011. It contains 20 songs, some of which were forgotten and which he wanted to bring back into the spotlight. Francien Sittrop and his Rietje even wrote a number of line dances to some of these songs, including the dance "Hold Me Close," which then also became the title of the CD.
