Esprazzivo plays wonderfully sparkling jazz, balanced with sultry bossa novas, sunny Latin and velvety ballads. This band will give your special occasion just that little bit of extra spice! From modest background music, in which a conversation can easily be held, to quite swinging jazz, which many have already danced to.

Front woman and singer Rehana Begum, with her warm, dark voice, tells musical stories with her own twist. She is beautifully complemented by tenor saxophonist Trinus de Vries, who likes to be virtuoso in his solos and instrumental pieces. They are accompanied by their creative rhythm section, consisting of Joost Italianer (piano), Lenny Fleer (double bass) and Peter de Heer (drums).

Esprazzivo is based on the Italian term 'espressivo'. It means that music is played with expression, with feeling.
