A new look, a new sound, in short: a renewed Niels Geusebroek. For his second album the singer rearranged everything. The result: Wildfire. Book Niels now on Showbird!

The piano as a starting point, then the guitar. At the HAVO he found, by now fifteen years, a partner in crime. With childhood friend Frans van Essen he started Silkstone, his own band with his own songs. The basis for the more serious work was laid.

Time passed in lecture halls and in the bandwagon. As if time accelerated it suddenly became 2009 and had to be deepened, he thought. But the intersection in the life of the early thirties was a persistent obstacle. Grateful for the time that lay behind him, all the special experiences that music had brought him, he silently asked himself: What more to do now? It was time to withdraw and shape the struggle. What became clear to him: he wanted to make songs that mattered. Making music that touches people. Layering the lyrics. Feeling aroused. And that's how the first album 'Lines' saw the light of day.
