Wonderful gift

Coincidentally ended up on the site of Singing Telegram. It was a very short day but no problem for Janek (Jacob). We can now look back on a super gig in which my father was sung about all his peculiarities and anecdotes. I invited Jacob Kooimans, the Singing Telegram, for the birthday of my 50-year-old girlfriend. Apart from the fact that my girlfriend really liked it (not unimportantly), I only received positive reactions from family and friends. I think that Jacob really makes contact with the guests very easy and natural. He does that in a very nice and funny way. He also wrote lyrics about my girlfriend in an original way. Besides that I had a good and pleasant contact with Janek (Jacob) during the preparation. All in all it's really worthwhile to invite him to any party! Let's put it this way, I have seen a lot of performances (performances in the theatre, at the fair, in a shopping mall, at a wedding etc.) but I haven't seen many that have the same qualities as Janek.

PLEASE CONTINUE WITH THIS! Last night you gave a performance at the Carlton Oasis Hotel in Spijkenisse to celebrate my 50th birthday. At first I thought, "Oh, oh, where's this going!?" Your performance really came as a complete surprise, but at the first few lines of the first song I noticed from which angle the wind was blowing. This morning I already sent the principals an e-mail with my heartfelt thanks for this special gift. During the performance I did pay attention to the humour and the lyrics of the songs and the situations to which the lyrics referred, but I did not (yet) have an eye for the underlying message of my colleagues. In the meantime I have found out and shared this with them. Jacob, I also want to thank you for writing the lyrics to the music with of course the necessary input from my colleagues.

very good quality and surprising! are just a few of the cries that come to mind during the performance of Janek (Jacob) during our Route5 jubilee. As a singing postman he really brought us tears of laughter. Really great and incredibly clever how he was able to hit the right chord with his lyrics on the basis of some information via e-mail.
