Vilja Duo brings dance and aerial acrobatics in different styles, ranging from classical ballet, over tango and modern to show dance. We have a large repertoire of finished acts and also make acts on demand.

Acts already in our repertoire: silk duo, silk solo, dying swan, romeo and julia, Think of me, Hurt me, Tango, clownesque,... We can also make an act tailored to your event.

Bram The Executioner
Artistic leader Vilja Productions-Choreographer-Dancer-Acrobat
Bram graduated from the Catholic University of Leuven with a master's degree in movement sciences. After that he continued his studies at the Amsterdam School of the Arts in the jazz-musical department. Here his eyes were opened to what was possible in the field of performing arts and he soon started auditioning to work as a professional dancer.
Since then Bram has danced in various dance companies: Choreonyx conducted by Bruce Taylor in Paris, Ballet Actuel in Toulouse, Landestheater Linz in Austria (where he performed the role of Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet and once again danced the leading role in Philip Glass's new opera creation 'Spuren der Verirrten'),.... He also appeared in several operas at home and abroad: Platée, Onegin, Les Troyens at the Dutch Opera; Akhnaten at the Flemish Opera; Peter Grimes at the Flemish Opera, Deutsche Opera, Opera Oviedo and English National Opera,.... He was also on stage in the musicals Dans Der Vampieren(Antwerp), My Fair Lady(Austria) and Hello Dolly(Austria). In the more commercial circuit Bram could be seen in Circus Hurricane by Hans Klok and at showballet Imperio aboard the MS Deutschland and MS Europa (where he also worked as dance captain). He is also often active in smaller productions, theatre, videoclips (Ded's it, BBC) and many other projects.
As a choreographer Bram choreographed for various operettas at the Flemish Music Theatre (De Graaf van Luxemburg, In 't witte paard, De Lustige Weduwe, Op de pur'pren heide, Der Fidele Bauer). He also started choreographing for concerts and galas at the Flemish Music Theatre. From here he also started to collaborate with other orchestras and singers and choreographed various projects at home and abroad. Bram is responsible for the choreographies of Vilja-Duo.
In 2016 Bram made his debut as a director with the operetta "Viktoria en haar huzaar" (for which he also choreographed) for the Flemish Music Theatre.

Irina Yakousheva
Dancer
Irina was bitten by the dance microbe at a very young age, she started her dance training at the age of 4 at the ballet school in Novosibirsk. At the age of 9 she moved to Vladivostok and continued her dance studies there. Already at the age of 11 she toured all over Russia (even in China) with the youth ensemble of the ballet school. After high school she went to study classical ballet and folklore at the university in Sint Peterburg. During her studies she already earned her own living as a show dancer in the Musichal of Saint Petersburg. When she graduated from university she decided to go the more commercial direction as a dancer and left for Korea as a dancer in a showdance company. Here she was soon promoted to dance captain and when she returned to Russia she continued to work for the company as a choreographer and trained the new dancers for the shows. When she moved to Antwerp she decided to focus more on teaching and became a welcome teacher at various dance schools in Belgium. Since she was back on stage with Bram, she rediscovered her passion for life as a performing dancer. Since then, she has worked as a freelance dancer with various choreographers in Europe (Isabelle Beernaert, Mark Bogaerts, Lies Serdons,...).
