Trumpeter Thomas Wessels may be the founder and namesake of the quintet, but anyone who has ever experienced a performance by TWQ knows that this group is a true collective. The members are perfectly attuned to each other and want the audience to enjoy this. Inspired by soul, disco & jazz, TWQ brings a varied mix of songs to suit the evening. Sometimes they're tasteful listening songs to go with a drink, other times there's good dancing á la studio 54!

In 2012 the band was founded at the conservatory of Amsterdam and already played at many different venues, such as the A'dam tower, Harbourclub and club Air. TWQ consists of Britt Teeling (vocals), Thomas Wessels (trumpet), Thijmen Schoute (keys), Florean Kruijswijk Jansen (bass) and Rachid Rejaibi (drums). The common goal is to make TWQ the well lubricated music machine you can count on for every party, wedding or other event.
