It's no party if Andre hasn't been to your party......

André has long been one of the most beloved, spontaneous, sociable singer/entertainer in the Netherlands. Ludicrous and inimitable, his career at the X-Factor began in late 2006, with the song "Wat ben je lelijk van dichtbij".

Following that success, Andre became a welcome guest in the television program of none other than Robert Jenssen,and appeared almost weekly on Dutch television. But for Andre, the artist life really began then!!!

The bookings poured in, and Andre did not know what hit him. With his humorous performances and his special laugh, the title "King of laughter" was soon attached to him. In addition to this special laugh, Andre manages to make crowds laugh with his cabaret-like elements during his performances! Various radio stations got wind of the phenomenon Andre Pronk, and he soon became a regular guest at various radio stations. He is used by all these radio stations as the joke teller, also because of his unique laugh. It did not surprise anyone that in 2007 Andre released his first single under the name: Het is mijn Lach.

Andre got the taste for it and then released a maxi-single called Weer Vrijgezel. This single was also well received by the Dutch public, and Andre's response to the question; what do you think about becoming so famous? He answered very simply; I am and remain just myself, and people find that SUPER!

At the beginning of 2011 Andre released the cd Ik ben niet dik,maar zwaar geschapen. This CD single reached the top 10 in several charts. Andre his last audition at the program Popstars, has certainly not done him any harm. Currently he has become a regular guest in the program of none other than Giel Beelen!

In short: Andre can entertain the audience in a comical way with his singing and entertainment.
