If you’re looking for a great all-around DJ for your party but would also like to have a singer to add an extra dimension to the evening, then Marcel de Rooij is the right choice for you! He’s also perfect for themed parties like Halloween and the upcoming holidays.

That’s because Marcel is both a professional singer and an experienced DJ—all for the price of one.

As a singer, Marcel has an extensive repertoire that includes both Dutch-language sing-alongs and disco and soul hits from the ’80s and ’90s, and his repertoire also features a perfect Bob Marley tribute.
As a DJ, Marcel has many years of experience; among other things, he was the resident DJ and singer at Café Bolle Jan in Amsterdam for five consecutive years. Marcel’s style is very versatile, from school parties to Carnival nights, from hockey clubs to Rotary Clubs, and from party tents to nightclubs—he’s a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to music and creating the right atmosphere.
Marcel certainly doesn’t shy away from song requests and can seamlessly mix even the most local music—such as a club anthem or a favorite song from your last ski vacation—at just the right moment in no time at all.
Marcel can also organize themed events for occasions like Halloween and the upcoming holidays, including matching mood lighting and decorations.
He performs with his own drive-in show, featuring an impressive light show, an illuminated DJ booth, and a top-quality sound system for events ranging from 25 to 1,000 people.

Marcel runs his own event company and can provide all necessary sound and lighting equipment.

He can also provide stage setups and decor such as pipe-and-drape (for example, to create a black wall to make a space feel smaller)

and LED star curtains, as well as truss structures for hanging lighting and speakers; renting an illuminated dance floor is also an option.

Marcel is regularly booked alongside well-known artists or DJs, so the equipment he uses is of professional quality.
