A ceilidh is a Scottish dance party, consisting of all kinds of fun group dances, or 'social dancing'. Ideal for weddings or teambuilding activities.

The workshop is perfect for weddings or other parties with a Celtic theme. Often not all the guests know each other already so it is a very nice way to get in touch with each other. Also, the dances are easy to learn. If you can walk without aids you can join in, no matter what your age is. Even the most inveterate non-dancers cannot be asked off the dance floor at the end of the evening!

Especially suitable is a Scottish ceilidh as a teambuilding activity. You get to know others in an original way and you learn to work together effectively. The dances consist of all sorts of different figures that have to be done with a different group of people each time. Participants have to pay attention to each other and react and of course help when someone doesn't understand certain steps. Something that is so much fun and educational at the same time, you don't see very often. Moreover, it is also good for the concentration, condition and health of the participants.

As a basis we come with 2 persons; a teacher (caller) and a musician (accordionist).
If desired, the music can be expanded to include multiple musicians (at an additional cost). This can be done in consultation.

The price mentioned does not include travel expenses.
