Batala is an international samba reggae percussion family.
The music and rhythms are composed in Salvador de Bahia in northeastern Brazil. The name Batala is a combination of the expression "bateu lá" which means "touching" in Portuguese and Obatalá (Oxalá), the Candomblé deity who is the father of the 9 Orixas and of all mankind.
The price does not include travel expenses.
Our line-up depends on the gig we are booked for. Prices also vary depending on the day, time, number of gigs and the duration of a possible Parade
