A good emcee does more than just tie the program together. I combine substance, energy, and interaction to ensure that both speakers and the audience stay engaged. From business conferences and healthcare events to sports events and company anniversaries. Professional when it counts, with a touch of humor when possible!

As a master of ceremonies, I combine professionalism with enthusiasm, humor, and interaction. I have a good sense of what a gathering needs: from a substantive discussion or serious topic to a lighthearted moment that energizes the room.

Experience on both large and small stages
I’ve had the privilege of facilitating several major events, including:

Sparta Rotterdam: twice served as moderator for Sparta itself, with approximately 160 participants per event.

Large healthcare organization at Sparta Rotterdam: moderator for a gathering with 180 participants.

A large childcare organization at Sparta Rotterdam: booked as a moderator for an event with over 200 participants.

De Kuip in Rotterdam: moderator for a large healthcare organization, with over 300 participants.

In addition, I have facilitated various smaller conferences and meetings within the healthcare sector. It is precisely at these gatherings that the focus is on delving deeper into the subject matter, asking the right questions, and fostering a connection between speakers and the audience.

Whether there are 40 or 300 participants, every gathering deserves the same attention and preparation.

Good preparation makes all the difference

Beforehand, I familiarize myself with the organization, the target audience, the speakers, and the purpose of the event. This allows me to contribute to the content, ask the right questions, and ensure smooth transitions between program segments.

During the event, I keep the event on track, maintain the pace, and engage the audience in an approachable way. When necessary, I improvise and respond to what’s happening in the room.

My style is approachable and enthusiastic. I love interaction, spontaneity, and a healthy dose of humor, but I never lose sight of the content and purpose of the event.
