Wim Kuipers is a songwriter from Brabant who, together with the band Countricana, sings about every aspect of life in Dutch. Stories and anecdotes connect the songs, creating a lively and entertaining musical journey. Nothing is off-limits, and no subject is too crazy to sing about. Whether it’s lost love or a budding romance, masturbation or death, country roads or Crocs, everything is fair game. With a healthy dose of humour, a touch of emotion and plenty of surprises, one thing is certain: it’s going to be a wonderfully entertaining and gezellig experience!

We offer an afternoon or evening program lasting approximately 2 hours (excluding intermission), in which music, stories, and emotion come together. The program can be presented in various formats, ranging from a full musical ensemble to an intimate living-room setting, tailored to the occasion and the desired atmosphere. We’ll take you on a journey into the unique world of this Brabant-based songwriter, whose lyrics and musical ideas are surprisingly unconventional and often stray from the beaten path. It is precisely this original perspective on the world that makes the songs captivating, relatable, and sometimes delightfully unexpected. With Yvonne and Jet’s sublime vocals, the songs truly come to life and strike a chord with the audience. The result is a varied and atmospheric program in which humor, wonder, and emotion alternate in a unique way.
