With a repertoire that includes both the iconic and lesser-known songs of the Buena Vista Social Club, Grupo Tumbando delivers an irresistible mix of son, cha-cha-cha, bolero, rumba, and energetic descargas. The setlist features music by Rubén González, Ibrahim Ferrer, Eliades Ochoa, Septeto Santiaguero, and others.
Grupo Tumbando is also ideally suited as a Latin jazz ensemble for more sophisticated occasions. Based in the Netherlands, Grupo Tumbando is available for booking—by arrangement—for various events and (private) parties.
The band
members are professional musicians from Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Peru, and the Netherlands. Most of them have studied at a conservatory or have made multiple music study trips to Cuba.

Grupo Tumbando is a fantastic band and a great act that we love to feature at Fifth NRE. With their immense passion and musicality, they know how to captivate and move the audience time and time again. It’s simply impossible to sit still when they play their infectious rhythms.
