A unique children’s show by the coolest street theater duo in the Netherlands!

Loaded down with gear, the guys roll in on their three-wheeled moped with a massive stack of cookie tins. Using the rhythmic sounds of the cookie tins, they work with the audience to create choreographed moments, all while building up to a spectacular finale. Of course, the “spinning wheel” and the “fashion show featuring clothing inspired by Yvon Jaspers” are must-see highlights!

Dennis Stroucken and Henk Schoemaker took their final exams at the Goois Lyceum in Bussum at the same time in 1977. They both owned a drumkit, but there was no unity or click in that area at the time.

At the school reunion of Het Goois Lyceum in 2005 Henk and Dennis met again (so 27 years later!!!) and it became clear that both are busy in the entertainment circuit. In passing Henk was also able to show one of the acquisitions: a Van der Lely invalid moped from 1967! This was the starting moment for the creation of street theatre group: The Mobile Unit. The passion and abilities of the duo Henk and Dennis ensure that shows are always up to date and that new shows are invariably conceived. All performances of the Mobile Unit are extremely suitable for children, but the gentlemen also provide the necessary chaos and hilarity for adults

We are currently touring with four shows, but each show can of course be adapted to specific wishes and circumstances. Henk and Dennis can also be used for special assignments such as an opening, anniversaries or for example as traffic controllers or chaotiseurs.
