Bissú is a DJ with 15+ years of experience behind the decks. The sets are shaped around the atmosphere of the occasion - from supporting dinners and social settings to late cocktail hour grooves and dancefloor energy. The sound is warm and sophisticated, moving effortlessly between jazz, soul, Brazilian and Latin music, warm House and Afro House. Bissú is also available for Vinyl Only easy listening sets, ranging from Bossa Nova and MPB to Neosoul and Soul/Funk. These sets are perfect for more intimate, social settings, for example a classy cocktail hour, art shows and dinners.
Bissú is the DJ and producer project of Joel Weiler, built around warm, rhythmic music and a strong sense of atmosphere.
With more than 15 years of DJ experience, Bissú offers a broad musical range that can be tailored to the setting. A set might begin with carefully selected jazz, soul, Brazilian, Latin and Portuguese music before gradually moving through groovier electronic sounds into Latin House and Afro House. For more dance-focused events, Bissú can equally deliver a dedicated House or Afro House set from the start.
This versatility makes Bissú particularly suited to restaurants, hotels, beach clubs, rooftops, terraces, brand events, receptions and other hospitality settings where the music should complement the space and audience rather than overpower it.
Sets can
be performed digitally, on vinyl, or as a combination of both. Bissú also produces original music, with debut EP Igoní exploring the more energetic and percussion-driven side of his Afro House sound.
Whether the occasion calls for an elegant soundtrack in the background, a warm sunset groove or a full dancefloor, the aim remains the same: creating a distinctive mood in the room through thoughtful music selection.
The price is based on 3-hour playtime. Longer or shorter sets are possible, and the price will be adjusted accordingly.
