Madelief Honders-Murck is a versatile jazz singer, songwriter, and arranger who combines jazz tradition with a contemporary, personal approach. Drawing on her training at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, she has developed her own style centered on rich harmonies, strong melodies, and storytelling.
Her music is characterized by a warm and expressive voice, subtle interaction with her musicians, and a keen focus on lyrics and meaning. Inspired by artists such as Norma Winstone, Shirley Horn, Joni Mitchell, Bill Evans, Fred Hersch, and Michel Legrand, Madelief seeks out the space and emotion behind a song.

Whether it’s an intimate living room concert, a stylish reception, a dinner, a cultural evening, or a theater stage: Madelief creates a musical experience centered on attention, atmosphere, and connection.
