Jorieke Sterken is a singer from Almelo whose powerful, raw voice brings a fresh energy to the Dutch boerenrock scene. Her musical career began on local stages, where she performed in cafés and at regional festivals. It didn't take long for her exceptional talent to stand out.

In 2018, Jorieke appeared on the SBS6 show *House of Talent*. Two years later, she made an impression on *The Voice of Holland*, where she was a member of Waylon’s team. Her national breakthrough came in 2024 thanks to her appearance on *The Headliner* on RTL 4. Her audition, featuring her own version of “Vette Boeren,” went viral, and she managed to win over the entire panel of judges—Kraantje Pappie, Nick Schilder, Typhoon, and Jacqueline Govaert—unanimously.

Since then, her career has taken off. She has performed at major festivals such as Appelpop and Muziekfeest op het Plein and previously opened for René Froger in front of an audience of over 5,000 people. Her music is regularly featured on Radio 538, Radio NL, Radio Continu, and RTV Oost. As a result, Jorieke is now one of the most in-demand and fastest-growing names in contemporary farmer rock.
