Frank Verkooyen, a singer, composer, and music producer from Breda, has been among the top artists
in the Dutch-language music scene for many years. With an extensive original repertoire, countless successful

How it all began:
Frank’s love for music was instilled in him from a young age. He gained his first stage experience in
his father’s entertainment band, after which he quickly made the leap
to a successful solo career. In 1996, he achieved his first Top 100 chart entry with “Ik Mis
Je Zo.” Not long after, his debut album “In Eigen Woorden” was released, followed by the albums
“Het Begin,” “Van Harte,” “In De Wolken,” and “Het Uur van de Waarheid.”

In addition to his career as an artist, Frank has established himself as a highly sought-after songwriter and
music producer. From his own studio, The Boom! Music Studio, he writes and produces music
for both established artists and new talent. His strength lies in creating personal,
relatable songs that are literally “tailored” to the artist performing them. Over the
years, he has collaborated with well-known names such as Peter Beense, Frans Duijts, Wolter Kroes, John
de Bever, Rene Schuurmans, and many others. But international and Flemish artists,
