Singer/guitarist Koen Jongsma sings and plays beautiful, mellow background music as well as upbeat songs and sing-alongs. There’s something for everyone! Perfect for your cocktail party or company party, but also for ceremonies in an intimate setting. Anything is possible—just let’s talk!

I’m available as a solo performer for background music (guitar/vocals or instrumental), social gatherings, and parties. My repertoire is wide-ranging, from Gavin DeGraw, Maroon 5, Douwe Bob, Adele, Amy Winehouse, and BlØf to The Eagles, Stevie Wonder, Van Morrison, Paul Simon, James Taylor, Jim Croce, The Beatles, and Eric Clapton. I also have a broad repertoire of Dutch-language songs. I play both old and new, well-known songs. If the mood calls for it, I’ll pick up the tempo and adapt my setlist. I’ve seen it happen plenty of times: a quiet get-together suddenly turns into a group of people dancing right in front of me. I love nothing more than that.
As a solo artist, I perform frequently at ceremonies, social gatherings, and dinners. I make sure the music is just the right volume—not too loud and not too soft. I bring my own equipment, which can also be used for speeches and background music (between live sets) if desired (via a pre-set playlist, for example).

I also perform as a duo with my son on lead guitar. This duo is better suited for events where there’s more dancing. In addition, I’m a member of the highly sought-after band Ergens Goed Voor, which can also be found on Showbird. The band is perfect for dance parties, weddings, and events.
