Waterfront is a Simple Minds tribute band from the southern part of the country, named after the song with which Simple Minds regularly open their live concerts. The band focuses specifically on the repertoire from the ’80s, the period during which Simple Minds became a true stadium act. Expect the big hits, complemented by surprising, lesser-known gems.
Waterfront performs without samples or prerecorded tracks—everything is played entirely live. The six band members are highly experienced musicians who have earned their stripes in various bands and musical styles, which is clearly evident in their energetic and authentic sound.
