The World’s Smallest Post Office is a cheerful walking act where visitors can pick a postcard, write a message, and send it off immediately. It’s a moving postal counter in authentic style, standing 2.5 meters high, where Koos can barely turn around—though fortunately he doesn’t have to, as he carries it on his back wherever he goes. This unique roaming installation brings interaction, humor, and surprise to any event, turning simple moments into memorable connections between people.
Communication is increasingly taking place digitally, but what could be nicer than receiving a personal card?
While post offices are closing all over the country, there’s one that’s wide open: The World’s Smallest Post Office.
Always on the move, yet always on duty—even outside regular business hours.
Interactive: engaging with and among the audience, it forms an essential part of the performance.
Playful and connecting, because the recipient gets a smile along with the postcard.
A real eye-catcher: a 2.5-meter-tall mobile counter, visible from a distance.
Versatile: from dance, street theater, and music festivals, city festivals, openings, and trade shows to smaller events such as a company party, conference, or shopping mall. And “The World’s Smallest Post Office” is also perfectly suited for more intimate
settings like a wedding or anniversary celebration.
Koos usually brings along all kinds of cheerful, poetic, and funny cards, but the postcards can also be customized for your event and made to your specifications. The performance can be arranged with or without stamps.
Why not surprise your loved one, second cousin, mother-in-law, neighbor, or grandmother with a handwritten card? Because let’s face it, real mail is so much more fun!
Performance duration to be agreed upon; for example: 3 x 45 minutes, spread over 4 hours.
