REALISTIC portraits are drawn in about 8–10 minutes using a black marker, with an emphasis on recognizable details and a representation that is as lifelike as possible.
If desired, the portraits can also be colored in for an even more vivid result.
IN THE EVENING, portraits are only possible if there is sufficient lighting, so that every detail can be carefully captured.
CARICATURE (duration: ± 5 min) is drawn with brush pens
and colored in if desired
I draw both realistic portraits (duration: ±8–10 min.) and caricatures (±5 min.), and create portraits in a non-offensive manner, either in color or in black and white
I bring samples of A4 and A3 watercolor paper.
You can choose from those.
The portrait is given to you in a small bag.
For some subjects—such as babies, very active young children, or elderly people who have difficulty walking—I’ll take a photo and use it to create a portrait. This process is also very quick.
If you’d like to book me for less than two hours outside a 25-km radius of Castricum, a different rate applies.

In every way, Ineke is an artistic addition to your event. She’s wonderfully direct—sometimes a bit surprising for the guests, but I (the hostess) really enjoyed it and found it amusing. She arrived right on time, worked hard without stopping (no breaks!), and was very flexible. Excellent value for the money. The portraits sparked a fun exchange and served as a great conversation starter among the guests. I’d definitely consider inviting her back.

Ineke, drew a lot of people people lined up for her on our family day. The conditions were not ideal, we were in a tent, had strong wind gusts and downpours. At one point we even had to move Ineke a bit in the tent because the water was coming in too much. On the new spot she continued drawing unchanged and made many people happy and gave them a nice drawing to take home. Definitely recommended.

What a nice woman she is and what she can show the children. At the St. Nicholas party were about 25 children, therefore the preference was for a color caricature. She took plenty of time for everyone and put the children at ease. Even the youngest children went home with a beautiful drawing.
