Fanfare Trio is a unique combination of music, street theater, humor and interaction. For over 35 years they have toured the streets, squares and events to surprise young and old.
From 1991 to 2013 as the Anton Pieck Trio formed the basis for all mobile musical street theater acts in the Efteling. During that period they entertained millions of visitors with their unique combination of music, improvisation and humor.
This is not a brass band as you know it.... nor a band as you expect.
Fanfare Trio brings the best of both worlds together: fully mobile, without power supply and always in the middle of the audience. Marching, playing, singing and improvising, they create a lively atmosphere where people automatically remain standing.
Their greatest specialty? Showing up where no one expects them and getting horribly in the way.
The act is a playful nod to the traditional brass band. Familiar songs suddenly turn into fanfare marches and vice versa. The audience is regularly caught off guard - and sometimes the musicians as well.

The interaction with the audience always creates unique situations. Regularly a visitor is spontaneously involved in the act and sometimes even a "guest musician" suddenly appears.
