My name is Robbert Bijnen.
I came into the world on July 23, 1993, but soon found my pituitary gland, the small gland in the brain responsible for hormones, was missing. With the necessary medical care, I grew up. The doctors gave me my daily pills and shots, and pressed me to live a structured life, and not to seek out too much stress and tension.
Yet there was one thing in life that, even as a child, managed to capture my great attention: music!
In my opinion, one of the most wonderful ways to tell stories and bring audiences along.
One small problem: stress-free and structured is not....
Still, I couldn't deny that I wanted nothing more than to immerse myself
in this wonderful world. So I followed my heart. With the pills on the sidelines, I explored the stage and found a way to express myself.
This resulted in my first album: Life in Jars.
Songs about health, mental and physical. About the sensitive issues in life. Sometimes weighty, but often lighthearted.
Songs from practice is an act that can give air to your lecture, event or get-together. It can be used in various ways, as a change in a set program, or as a stand-alone act.
