An upbeat band with a fruit scale of songs within the theme ' Fruit' . Classics such as 'Strawberry', 'Kiwi' and 'Pineapple' come by, but also songs such as ' Watermelon Sugar' by Harry Styles & ' Lemon Tree' by Fools Garden make their appearance at this unique and fun show.

Uncle Veenstra writes songs with his favorite Wentelneefjes within one theme; fruit. It started with the first single 'Mandarin' where they describe their love for and frustrations with their favorite fruit. With the singles 'Lemon' and 'Strawberry' Veenstra & the Wentelneefjes try to give people clear life lessons, of course(bei) with a wink. These three singles can be heard on the Fruit EP (2020).

With more than 200,000 streams on the Fruit EP, Veenstra and his Wentelneefjes couldn't leave it at the milk cartons and because of the 5-year anniversary, the songs like 'I Don't Cherry' and 'Appelpartje II' came as comeback songs in 2025. Currently, a true Fruit EP Deluxe album is waiting with new classics and old familiar ones to steal many a heart in the Netherlands. Prepare for an evening full of vitamins, humor and recognizable stories.
