Featuring Wouter Groenhart (double bass & vocals), Jelle van Tongeren (violin), Thomas Streutgers (saxophone) and Remmert Velthuis (guitar), they bring an infectious mix of well-known Christmas classics, swinging songs of their own and, above all, lots of humor and interaction.

The Busquito's is one of the most fun and funny bands in the Netherlands. For years, I’ve been booking them regularly for all kinds of events. They’re just as comfortable playing at a festival as they are at a neighborhood party or simply out on the street among the crowd. And aside from the fact that their music is always top-notch, they also turn every performance into an interactive spectacle with the audience. An extra bonus is that around Christmas, the Busquito’s always go on tour with a special Christmas program, which makes them a great fit for the Christmas markets I’ve been organizing for years. All in all, an excellent band!

For our orchestra’s 20th anniversary, we booked The Xmas Busquitos. In addition to their performance, they also led a workshop in which our students were introduced to jazz and improvisation. It was wonderful to see how they inspired the children and engaged the audience during the concert. The collaboration with the orchestra went exceptionally well and resulted in a special and festive performance. We highly recommend them!
