With his warm voice, guitar, and laid-back demeanor, Hans de Liedjeszanger, an experienced singer-guitarist, takes you back to the most beautiful musical memories of the ’50s, ’60s, and ’70s. His performances exude atmosphere, nostalgia, and genuine musicality—a celebration of familiarity that touches the heart and brings people together.

“Yesterday’s Songs Live! Music of the ’60s–’70s” features a rich repertoire full of classics by Dutch artists such as Boudewijn de Groot, Jaap Fischer, Ramses Shaffy, Frans Halsema, and Wim Sonneveld.
English-language evergreens by The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, Bobby Vinton, The Everly Brothers, Pat Boone, and many others.
French chansons by icons such as Jacques Brel, Charles Aznavour, Georges Brassens, and Gilbert Bécaud.
Plus a few atmospheric Spanish and Italian songs that add extra color to the program. Upon request, we can even include some beautiful German songs.

Whether it’s subtle background music during a dinner or reception, or creating a cozy atmosphere at a birthday party for seniors, or a pleasant musical afternoon for seniors at a care center, Hans has an unerring sense of what each moment calls for and effortlessly adapts his performance accordingly.

He prefers to perform at small, intimate venues where a genuine connection with the audience is formed—places where music can still be personal and every note resonates deeply.

Who is Hans?
I am a singer-guitarist and entertainer.
Every chanson, every song, every tune is a story in itself.
In fact, I’m a musical storyteller!

I have over 40 years of experience with various genres of music, including jazz, Dixieland, and dinner music, as well as party music at large weddings and celebrations.

From a very young age, I’ve also been deeply involved with romantic ballads, close harmony, cabaret, and theater.
And singing… I’ve been doing that my whole life!
I’m a true nostalgic troubadour!

You could certainly say that performing and entertaining are in my blood, and I still do this with great passion and joy!

Cabaret-style songs.

Hans (guitar and vocals) delivers a surprising and lively performance featuring
funny, beautiful, absurd, and moving (cabaret) songs by Don
Quishocking, Jaap Fischer, Ivo de Wijs, Wim Sonneveld, Frans Halsema, Gerard
Cox, Robert Long, Jules de Corte, Herman v Veen, and Toon Hermans.
Duration: 2 segments of 25 minutes each.
