With his warm voice and guitar, Hans presents a special program full of Dutch ballads and sing-alongs from the ’40s, ’50s, and ’60s. Songs that touch the heart, move the soul, and above all: bring memories to life.
From Rob de Nijs, Johnny Jordaan, Wim Sonneveld, Louis Davids, Dorus and Willy Alberti to The Ramblers, the Selveras, Eddie Christiani, Max van Praag, and even the timeless sounds of Vera Lynn—they all
feature in an atmospheric and nostalgic program.

These are reactions that often come up when the first notes are played. Because this music opens doors to forgotten moments, childhood memories, and familiar feelings from back then.
Hans takes great pleasure in performing at nursing homes, care hotels, care centers, hospices, and hospitals—anywhere where a little musical encouragement is welcome and where a warm, cozy atmosphere can make all the difference.
Also ideal for events organized by De Zonnebloem, Alzheimer Cafés, or gatherings with seniors who still remember these songs from their own youth.
“I prefer to play for smaller groups of up to about 50 people, which allows for a nice interaction with my audience and creates a lovely, intimate atmosphere.”

Who is Hans?
I’m a singer-guitarist and entertainer.
Every chanson, every song, every tune is a story in itself.
In fact, I’m a musical storyteller!
I have over 40 years of experience with various genres of music, including jazz, Dixieland, and dinner music, as well as party music at large weddings and celebrations.
From a very young age, I’ve also been deeply involved with romantic ballads, close harmony, cabaret, and theater.
And singing… I’ve been doing that my whole life!
I’m a true nostalgic troubadour!
("Maybe I was born too late…")!
You could certainly say that performing and entertaining are in my blood, and I still do this with great passion and joy!
