Roy Raymonds, known to many as the “barefoot singer,” is an artist who instantly brings a smile to the faces of fans of Dutch-language party music. With his signature barefoot performances, infectious energy, and genuine warmth, he quickly carved out a special place in the hearts of his audience.

His breakthrough came through the TROS television program *Een ster in 40 dagen* (A Star in 40 Days), where he became a fan favorite. This was followed by performances throughout the Netherlands, from party tents to large-scale events, and even international shows in popular après-ski destinations and sun-drenched Turkey, Gran Canaria, Egypt, Curaçao, etc. With songs like *Ik Heb Een Knal Rooie Rubberboot* and *De Reiger* (*Vliegerlied*), he firmly established himself as a party singer.

He also starred in the well-known *Vakantie Vakantie* “Corendon” TV commercial.

About 12 years ago, Roy was forced to step out of the spotlight due to health issues and took a break from the stage. It wasn’t a permanent farewell, but a period behind the scenes during which he continued to write new music and worked on his recovery.

And that’s exactly what makes his story so powerful today. Because the barefoot singer Roy Raymonds (including his little orange worm) is back!!!!!
