Fly the rocket to the Purple Planet and then back again!
Kees and Koos are going on an adventure, they have a vacation, but where are they going? Koos really wants to go to a distant planet, but not without Kees. Kees only dares to go if Rikki the rat can come along too. Koos is afraid of the rat and Kees is afraid of the rocket.
Eventually they fly away with their self-built rocket.
On this wonderful purple planet they meet colorful, funny and cuddly inhabitants.
We all end the performance with a flashy dance.

Theater Kees and Koos is always a party! Our grade 1 and 2 students enjoyed the performance The Journey to the Purple Planet. In our gymnasium, they were taken on an exciting and colorful adventure about daring and fantasy. The music, sets and puppets captured the imagination immensely. The children were completely captivated and talked about it enthusiastically in class. We thank the team very much for coming and for the wonderful experience!

We watched the performance with the children from grades 1 to 4. The children enjoyed it. Beautiful scenery and jokes that the children responded to in a fun way. Cleverly conceived and played. The children joined in the adventure of the purple planet.

From beginning to end they hold the full attention of all children, what a beautiful adventure! Interactive, bit exciting, funny and they learn something more about friendship . With a beautiful setting, the rocket was talked about at home for a long time and even had to be recreated. Fits right in with annual space theme with preschoolers at school! Yesterday morning, we had a performance (tryout) of “Kees and Koos” at KC Groeipaleis. The show is called “The Purple Planet.” It’s suitable for children ages 3–8; but since the after-school care children were at school, only the 3- and 4-year-olds from the toddler groups at the daycare and preschool attended. The children absolutely loved it... A piece of the set turned into a rocket. The rocket actually made sounds and lit up. The story and the performance perfectly matched the 3-year-olds’ world of experience. The children clapped along enthusiastically; they dared to pet the rat and danced happily to the music. What a party for the kids!!! (But also for the adults.)
