Elle Chante is a Rotterdam-based quintet led by the talented singer Suzanne Nesse. The band performs an atmospheric mix of jazzy swing, blues, and French chansons. With their varied repertoire, they create a musical experience full of charm, rhythm, and conviviality.

From well-known classics like Édith Piaf’s “La vie en rose” and “C’est si bon” to “La Javanaise,” “Une belle histoire,” and “Les copains d’abord”: Elle Chante infuses these French songs with their own swinging vibe. So with many of these songs, it’s a real challenge to sit still!

Suzanne Nesse sings jazz, swing, ballads, blues, bossa nova, and Brazilian samba with equal ease. With her warm voice and infectious enthusiasm, she knows how to draw the audience into every song.

She is accompanied by four experienced musicians: Erwin Kandou and Ron Boers on guitar, Guust de Koning on tenor and soprano saxophone, and Aike Elshout on double bass.

Whether you love French chansons, swinging jazz, or atmospheric blues, Elle Chante brings music that invites you to listen, move along, and enjoy.
